2019 Maui Charity Walk

May 11 @ 6:30 am - 12:00 pm

Westside Hoops Maui’s overall goal this year is $70,000. Our online fundraising goal is $40,00 and so far, WITH YOUR AMAZING SUPPORT, we have already raised about $40,000 towards our overall goal! MAHALO NUI MAUI!

The Charity Walk, founded in 1974 and expanded statewide in 1978, is now Hawai‘i’s largest single-day fundraising event by a non-profit organization. Since its inception, more than $32 million has been raised to support hundreds of local charities throughout the state. Spearheaded by the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association and it’s non-profit arm Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation, the Charity Walk is traditionally held every May on Hawai‘i, Kaua‘i, Lana‘i, Maui, Moloka‘i, and O‘ahu. Money raised on an island or county stays there. The public is invited to participate in this event featuring a morning of great food, fun, fabulous entertainment, and a little exercise to help island charities.

Last year for 2018, we broke another record for the Walk!
1st place for an individual raising the most funds went to Dan Williams, with $45,980 raised and 1st place for a non-profit raising the most funds went to Westside Hoops: $136,190!

God Bless You All!!!
